In CSS standard, E:X selectors are pseudo class selectors (remember "a:visited"?). Use '\' to escape colon:#subview\:form\:myPanel_body .rich-panel-body
. Another variant - assign some CSS class to this particular panel and use it. -

Well, to add s.th. here.
I don't think it's possible by assigning a class to the <rich:panel> to just style the body part of it. Didn't get that to work. -
