DataScroller Memory usage

Hi All

This is really not an issue but i was just curious as how datascroller works behind the screens. If have 1000 records in my table and i have set the row count to 10, then i have 100 pages in my data scroller.

Does the datascroller keeps all 1000 records in memory and shows 10 records at one time ?

or makes ajax call to database everytime a new page is clicked ( i doubt this )

it keeps 1000 record and show 10 at a time, as you first guessed, if you want to make the datascroller makes paging from the DB then i recommend you to see Ilya code at the showcase :
