"service jboss.jdbc-driver.informix" missing means the jdbc driver is missing.
it needs to be jdbc compliant. you can then go ahead and deploy it through the console:

Does it mean that my jdbc driver is wrong. But I used the same in jboss 4.2.0 and it worked fine there.

maeste Jul 21, 2011 4:10 AM (in response to dchekuri)Maybe the informix driver isn't jdbc4 compliant. In this case you have to specify also <driver-class> into driver section of standalone/domain.xml.
