1. Re: How to get Requester IP Address?
tcunning Jul 6, 2011 3:08 PM (in response to mahdiiran)I don't believe the remote addr is supported by the JBR provider. Can you use the HTTP Gateway instead?

mahdiiran Jul 11, 2011 6:46 AM (in response to tcunning)Thanks Tom
I have a problem to use HTTP Gateway, it seems by using HTTP Gateway request url must be something like
http://<host>:<port>/<.esbname>/http/<url pattern>
but i require to support url like http://<host>:<port>/<url pattern>
I search to find correct configuration on HTTP Gateway but nothing found.
Is it possible to use HTTP Gateway for my URL pattern ??

3. Re: How to get Requester IP Address?
tcunning Jul 11, 2011 9:01 AM (in response to mahdiiran)Yes - what version of JBoss AS are you using?
My suggestion would be to use a rewrite valve to rewrite the URL pattern you desire to the HTTP gateway pattern.
If you can let me know what AS version you are using I can dig up the the valve documentation for you.

mahdiiran Aug 6, 2011 4:38 AM (in response to tcunning)Thanks Tom
I read the url carefully and try to change my jbr-provider to http-provider because http-gateway does not work with jbr-provider
http-provider have a property named port , when i change the port to 80 (other than default jboss) my service dos not work and browser cannot route to jboss i think http-provider does not listen on port 80 (like jbr-provider)!!
so is the port property usable and is any way to define listening port other than Jboss 8080 default port?

9. Re: How to get Requester IP Address?
tcunning Aug 6, 2011 12:03 PM (in response to mahdiiran)You really should look into the HttpGateway. Your first question about "how do I change the URL" is solved by putting a valve in front that redirects to your HttpGateway. HttpGateway will also let you get the requester IP address.
I don't understand your port question - if you attach a small example we can try I think we could give you some help there.
