1. Re: JBPM 4.4 taskService.completeTask leaves no task outcome specified in history.
unsavory Aug 11, 2010 7:57 PM (in response to unsavory)I've figured out that removing the timer solves the issue.
So this works as expected:
<task name="screen" assignee="#{ stringId }"> <transition name="completed" to="send_email" /> <transition name="abandoned" to="abandoned" /> </task>
So the question is, why would the timer cause the task outcome to be recorded incorrectly?
I should add that the process transitions to the next step correctly, it just does not record the correct task outcome for this one task in the history table.

Could you show me a enirely testcase? Your xml snippets looks good. I can't find any problem on it.

unsavory Aug 12, 2010 1:41 PM (in response to rebody)Hi HuiSheng,
While attempting to create a test case for you, it seems it works fine in the in memory hsql db. The history is being recorded as expected.
This leads me to believe there could be an issue with the database migration scripts as I have migrated from 4.1 to 4.4. Doing a schema compare between a brand new 4.4 database and my upgraded database, I see a LOT of differences in the foreign keys.
I am attempting to synchronize the database schemas and will report back.
