1. Re: How to Configure Jboss 5.1.0 to run in cluster Mode
mp911de Aug 6, 2011 4:02 PM (in response to vijaysachin)Hi Vijay,
when you want to start JBoss 2 times on your machine you need:
Make a Copy of your configured JBoss for node1 and node2
Make sure you have either two IP's (if you need to access your cluster from outside your machine) or bind it to two local IP's (127.0.0.10 and 127.0.0.11 for example)
start node1: run.sh -b 127.0.0.10
start node2: run.sh -b 127.0.0.11
Then you get JBoss Node 1 bound to IP 127.0.0.10 and Node 2 bound to 127.0.0.11. In your browser you can access JBoss (default ports are 8080) with http://127.0.0.10:8080 and http://127.0.0.11:8080
For an cluster you need a bunch of stuff to configure (replication, caches, etc.), see http://docs.jboss.org/jbossclustering/cluster_guide/5.1/html/index.html
Best regards,
Mark
