kruez Jul 17, 2009 1:09 PM (in response to kruez)I need to be able to bypass firewall filters over which I have no control. Depending on the user's input their request may be blocked from reaching our server ever. It's less than ideal but that's the nature of the project.
Thanks! -

alexsmirnov Jul 17, 2009 3:53 PM (in response to kruez)The required scenario exactly describes SSL protocol functionality, that encodes information on the client side and restores that on the server. It is not possible for any firewall to block encrypted page by content rules.
Moreover, most firewalls do not check submitted requests but block access by response content only, therefore requested feature should encrypt content of output too and decode that on the client. -

nbelaevski Jul 18, 2009 7:32 AM (in response to kruez)Hi,
You can use Javascript to copy values of form fields into hidden fields that will be decoded on server. Use "onsubmit" attribute to define such JS code.
