EJB3 new features in AS7 upstream - in preparation for 7.0.1

In preparation for the upcoming JBoss AS 7.0.1 release, we have introduced some new EJB3 functionality/configurations in the latest AS7 upstream. These include:

• Better MDB integration which includes a couple of fixes in HornetQ (HORNETQ-747 and HORNETQ-750)

• Ability to configure the default resource adapter name for the MDBs at the subsystem level. Here's an example https://github.com/jbossas/jboss-as/blob/master/build/src/main/resources/standalone/configuration/standalone-preview.xml#L147. This can be overridden at each MDB using the @org.jboss.ejb3.annotation.ResourceAdapter annotation.

• Ability to specify the default pooling configuration for SLSB and MDB bean instance pools. This can be configured at the subsystem level as shown here https://github.com/jbossas/jboss-as/blob/master/build/src/main/resources/standalone/configuration/standalone-preview.xml#L154. Absence of a pooling configuration disables pooling for the beans (unless overridden at deployment/bean level). In the absence of a pool, the bean instances will be created per request. This strategy is useful for lightweight beans which don't do much in their on their construction/@PostConstruct.

We would like you to start testing the latest AS7 nightly builds http://community.jboss.org/thread/167590 and let us know if you run into any issues. This will help us deliver a better 7.0.1.
