extendedDataTable header context menu - how to check/uncheck multiple columns?

I am a newbie of richfaces...

Now I have a question on extendedDataTable header context menu. Each time I want to hide/show columns, I go to context menu to check/uncheck the column names. However I can only check/uncheck one column each time, and the table will be rerendered. That means each time I can hide/show only one column. Is there anyway to check/uncheck multiple columns before the table gets rerendered?

Dear All,

          In my application we do have same issue, customer wants to hide and select multiple columns at same time.

Is this can be customized, your help appreciated.
