mitchelladam83 Aug 16, 2011 9:28 AM (in response to vdlanil)I'm also getting this error. migration from 4.2.3 to 6.0.0. using login-config.xml to define my security context. Is this not fully supported by JBoss 6 or is there a new way that this must be done?

mitchelladam83 Feb 29, 2012 5:01 AM (in response to mreinhardt)I wouldn't call it "solve", but i did find out the problem.
We were using cached Subjects in our sessions, but still calling logout() after each transaction was completed. This nulled the Security Context associated with the Session, AND with the Subject. Then when we tried to re-use the Subject on a new Session. It's Security Context was null, resulting in the error.
We resolved this temporarily by not calling logout, while we try and think of an alternate solution where we cache the full JAAS context, or resign ourselves to performing a full authorisation each time.
