Richfaces 4 jar backward compatibailty

Hi

We are upgrading from Richfaces 3 to Richfaces 4.

Currently we use the community edition component Jars.

Obviously there are a number of components in Richfaces 3 that are no longer supported in Richface 4 (Available in JSF2 now).

So my question is this:

Would using the licensed component Jars provide backward compatibilty for all the Richfaces 3 components? I.e. We would not have to update our code in all locations where depreciated components exist.
