Error in starting JBoss AS with GateIn

Hi All,

          I had some problem in starting Jboss AS with GateIn and I get some help from the article http://community.jboss.org/wiki/DeployingGateInIntoAnExistingJBossASInstance and i did everything as mentioned.

Now I am getting different errors while starting JBoss AS with GateIn. I have enclosed the error log. Please see that and help me getting out of this asap.

Its an address already in use error, something else on your machine is already using that address and port. Change the port or shutdown whatever else is using it.

Also please attach error logs like this as plain text, not rtf files. You also don't need to post the whole log, just the first part of the first error message should work. Attaching 300+ pages is too much.

Really sorry for uploading a big file. I didn't see that it was 300+ paged file.

Address already in use is not only the error, there are so many errors. I checked changing the address..that error gone but others are there..moreover the error was coming for AJP connector port, which I am not going to use. Initially I didn't get that error. Suddenly from yesterday only i was getting that error.

There are other errors like 'MC integration initialization error', 'cannot create the sample-portal' portal.

Finally the server was started with all these errors and warnings. But when i try to open the portal, it was not opened.

Hi..

Looking like Gatein is not properly configured in your jboss 5.0.1 GA.I dont think its compatable with Jboss 5.0.1 GA. Even I am not finding any references related to plug in Gatein in to the 5.0.1.But even you can follow the link(http://tarnaeluin.wordpress.com/2011/02/19/installing-gatein-3-1-on-my-jboss-5-1-instance/) for pluged in Gatein in to the your Jboss.I am not sure it will work fine or not but you can try.Suppose if its not happeneing I would suggest you to go for jboss 5.1.0. I have followed the same instructions for my 5.1.0 and its working fine.

Thanks...The problem is with JBoss 5.0 only. Now I tried with 5.1.0 and it worked as expected.
