    PicketLink Federation Testing On JBoss AS7 plan

      This is a thread to discuss the PicketLink testing on AS7.

      Things to look for:

      1. Use of Tomcat Authenticators via the jboss-web.xml  valve settings.  (http://community.jboss.org/wiki/JBossAS7SecurityDomainModel)
      2. Classloading issues.  We may be using TCCL at various places.   [https://issues.jboss.org/browse/PLFED-207]

       

      Things that need to be tested:

      1. SAMLv2 Support.  [High Priority]
      2. SAML v1.1 Support.  [High]
      3. WS-Trust Support. [High]
      4. OpenID Support.  (PicketLink Social project)  [Low]

      We have SAML tests and STS tests in the PicketLink Integration Test Suite that are indepedent of AS/Tomcat containers.  The workspace is http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/picketlink/integration-tests/trunk/

      1. Create a PicketLink module in AS7 standalone and add the 4 jars from the build.
      2. Get picketlink-sts.war to deploy properly on AS7
