Jboos 5 Hot-deploy Linux

Hi,

I am using Jboss 5 and windows XP for to develop my application. The server is with JBoss 5 and Linux Red Hat, when I copy an new application, for the server started, the application not is available and this error is throws:

So, I stop the server and start again, then the application is available.
The WAR file is generats in wizard of the eclipse.

Most likely the hot deployer attempted to deploy the birt.war app before it was completely copied. This can happen if the birt.war file is fairly large and takes sometime to copy.

One possible solution is to copy birt.war to another location on the same partition as JBoss AS and then move the file to the deploy directory. You will have to do this outside of Eclipse.

Another possible solution is to increase the hot deployer scan interval and keep your fingers crossed. For example, if the file take 4 seconds to copy, increase the scan delay to 20 or 30 seconds. The idea is that larger the scan delay, the better chance that the hot deployer will not run while the file is being copied. However, you will still get an occasional zip file error.

Change the setting of scanPeriod in server/xxx/deploy/hdscanner-jboss-beans.xml. The value is in milliseconds.

OK ...All right!!! I increased the scan interval to 30 seconds and worked.
