Just the UI components used is the other.. So you could review the approach in demo example and then compare to your code. And if will not helps - it will be easier to simpify your case to minimalistic sample of what are you doing and post code there.

I had to include my list as well as the details panels in a single form and provide another button "save" which does nothing but but simple submiting the form.
By this the data is put in to the models correctly
