1. Re: HowTo always trying to reconnect a topic..Plz Help
clebert.suconic Sep 2, 2011 3:59 PM (in response to joatack)I'm missing some context here as how you are reconnecting it.
It appears an issue with your application?
Also: what version of hornetq?

2. Re: HowTo always trying to reconnect a topic..Plz Help
joatack Sep 5, 2011 3:39 AM (in response to clebert.suconic)Ok, I changed my way to do.
Before in the code, we used an ejb (v2) which used and invoker (define in standardjboss.xml) which called the mbean (in jms-ds.xml).
Now I changed the bean to EJB 3 and the adapterResource is hornet.sar.rar (so the ra.xml).
I configured the ra.xml to connect to a remote factory (via nettyConnectorFactory), I could see the reconnection but I have this error : Failed to create netty session factory...
2 Questions :
- The server side is on JBoss 4 using JBossMQ, is it possible to connect a netty connector (from hornetq) to a JBossMQ Topic ?
- Else, is it possible to always reconnect when we use an invoker ? I could see the "reconnectionIntervalSec" parameter but no "reconnectAttemps" or things like that......
Thanks for your help...

3. Re: HowTo always trying to reconnect a topic..Plz Help
clebert.suconic Sep 5, 2011 12:47 PM (in response to joatack)You should use HornetQ libraries to talk to HornetQ, and JBoss MQ libraries to talk to JBoss MQ. There's no way to make a Netty connector to talk to JBoss MQ.
Take a look at the JMSBridge. where you can use both libraries on each side.
