Thanks for the reply but I can't really get it to position in the same place (over or just under the Month/Year button in the header).
In order to get the top/left attributes to take effect, I need to set the position attribute.
I can use relative or absolute settings, and then use top: -300px or something like that, but the problem with that is that if the calendar has more entries, it will be taller, and 300px will not be enough.
Spent some time playing with this, but I can't get it so that it consistently displays over the Month/Year button regardless of the size of the calendar itself.

i am new to richfaces & i want to develope calendar organizer.
i have completed with Calenday display & on day click modal panel show.
But i want to link added events(from database or list) to calendar like to display events on calendar as per current month selected.
is it possible with calendar data model or something else?
