Gatein 3.2 and CAS integration, anyone?

Hi all,

I had a working SSO installation with GateIn 3.1 and CAS, but recently had to upgrade due to a problem that was resolved in 3.2. Now I have not been able to get my SSO integration to work since, and I am getting desperate. I really hope that anyone here is able to help out.

First, I was trying with my old sso-jars in gatein.ear/lib/ but I got a ClassNotFoundException on org.exoplatforms.web.security.Credentials, and I notice that it had been removed in 3.2.

Then, I tried to get the latest sso-jars from the svn repository and build. I got a bit further, but now it's missing the GenericSSOAgent class referred to in gatein.ear/02Portal.war/WEB-INF/web.xml (InitiateLoginServlet).

And now I am completely stuck, I have tried replacing GenericSSOAgent with CASAgent, but it's a singleton and of course cannot instantiate. The documentation seems to have fallen behind, and frankly I don't know where to look for information.

Is there any kind soul out there who can give me a pointer in the right direction? I would appreciate it a lot!

I have the same error and found a similar entry here: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBEPP-1233 According to the comment the gatein-sso-1.1.0-Beta02 package should fix the issue. I have not been able to find that though.

Anyone on the list know where gatein-sso-1.1.0-Beta02 can be found?

Hi Anders,

I have unfortunately not managed to solve it yet. I decided to turn my attention elsewhere in my project, hoping that the problem will be solved 'by itself' in the meantime.

Ok so the SSO 1.1.0-GA package is released and can be found here: https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/groups/public/org/gatein/sso/sso-packaging/1.1.0-GA/

However, after downloading that and checking it out, I couldn't find  any GenericSSOAgent class.

Not sure how to proceed now. I must be missing something, but not sure what. Has anyone managed to get SSO working on GateIn 3.2?

Some changes have been made since upgraded 1.0.x to 1.1.0-GA, if you're using 1.1.0-GA for GateIn 3.2 integration, I think you should use latest version of GateIn document at here http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/gatein/portal/trunk/docs/reference-guide/, use maven to build doc project and refer to what you want.

It seems to me that the structure has changed so that it requires a build of the trunk (rather than using 3.2.0-M01) to work.  For example the org.exoplatform.web.login.DoLoginServlet is new.

So, that's all fine. However, when I try to build the trunk from a current svn check-out (from http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/gatein/portal/trunk/) I get an error in the project exo.portal.component.web.security - Access denied to: http://repository.jboss.org/maven2/quartz/quartz/1.6.0/quartz-1.6.0.pom

Any idea what I might do wrong?

Ok manged to get the build to work using a settings.xml file in .m2 folder (as described in the readme...) . Will test this now
