1. Re: Cannot get Security logging
dlofthouse Sep 14, 2011 8:52 AM (in response to markboletti)If you look at the CONSOLE and FILE configuration there is also a restriction to INFO: -
<level name="INFO"/>
This will also need changing in either CONSOLE or FILE to allow the TRACE messages to be logged.

markboletti Sep 14, 2011 10:33 AM (in response to dlofthouse)Hi Darran,
thanks for your reply. Please correct me if I'm wrong but changing CONSOLE or FILE log level to TRACE would cause to increase log verbosity (unless defined with a logger) to TRACE, right ? I'd like just to increase logging for that package. Is there a way to do it ? Thanks in advance
Mark

3. Re: Cannot get Security logging
dlofthouse Sep 14, 2011 10:43 AM (in response to markboletti)You are almost correct, however the root logger has already a level defined of INFO which covers all categories except those specifically listed.
<root-logger>
<level name="INFO"/>
<handlers>
<handler name="CONSOLE"/>
<handler name="FILE"/>
</handlers>
</root-logger>
