1. Re: Question about JBossTransactionManagerLookup
smarlow Sep 14, 2011 1:59 PM (in response to guinotphil)Try downloading the latest AS7 nightly build (http://community.jboss.org/thread/167590) , which has an updated version of Hibernate that uses the newer JNDI TM lookup string.
I think using "org.hibernate.transaction.JBossTransactionManagerLookup", will get remapped into the new org.hibernate.service.jta.platform.internal.JBossAppServerJtaPlatform which should be able to find the TM.

2. Re: Question about JBossTransactionManagerLookup
hibernal Sep 14, 2011 3:26 PM (in response to smarlow)Might be off-base here, but I think jbpm used by guinotphil carries with it hibernate3, so not clear how a newer hibernate shipped with the container can help in this case?

4. Re: Question about JBossTransactionManagerLookup
guinotphil Sep 15, 2011 4:02 AM (in response to smarlow)Yeah, I saw that blog before (while running with other issues) and I didn't realize that it was about that particular point.
I'm still with jBPM 3 anyway, but it doesn't matter. So, I take actually the answer as yes, for jBPM we should matter about the TransactionManager configuration then. Thank you.
