We are working on a series of stateless session beans which must be deployed using the JBoss HA-Singleton deployment pattern. Failover is working fairly well for us in the lab. We are interested in understanding the best practices to avoid a split brain scenario in situations such as long GC pauses and/or network issues in one interface and not the others resulting in two active nodes.
Can anyone please point us towards any artices, docs, etc... on how to best configure JBoss AS 6 and above. Are there hardware solutions recommended like fencing and if so any documentation or examples of this.
If there are also any subject matter experts out there interested in discussing consulting opportunities, please let me know the best way to exchange information.
