1. Re: Is it possible to add/remove extensions with CLI ?
emuckenhuber Sep 15, 2011 3:37 AM (in response to mylos78)1 of 1 people found this helpfulUsually this should be possible by calling the 'remove' operation on the subsystem and extension. However currently there are still some remove operations missing: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-470

2. Re: Is it possible to add/remove extensions with CLI ?
mylos78 Sep 16, 2011 3:59 AM (in response to emuckenhuber)Thanks for your reply Emanuel: I wanted to point out just one thing, I've tried to remove for example the web subsystem. It works correctly:
[standalone@localhost:9999 /] /extension=org.jboss.as.web:remove()
{
"outcome" => "success",
"response-headers" => {
"operation-requires-reload" => true,
"process-state" => "reload-required"
}
However, this just removes the web extension but not the web subsystem. Thus, when the configuration is reloaded, the server complains about the unknown web subsystem. Is it possible to remove the web subsystem as well ?
Thanks
Mylos

3. Re: Is it possible to add/remove extensions with CLI ?
emuckenhuber Sep 16, 2011 6:05 AM (in response to mylos78)Yes, that is correct. You would need to remove the subsystem and the extension. As mentioned before is that we are missing some remove operations on the subsystem level, unfortunately the web subsystem is one of them.
