    Recommended HornetQ Standalone Version

      Hi there.

       

      This might seem like a pretty odd or basic question, but we've had enough discussion here to warrant asking.  This way we can put the question to rest.

       

      We're going to run a standalone HornetQ server (or cluster) which we connect to remotely via different means - not just JBoss AS.  We're trying to decide what version to run.  Sounds simple right?

       

      2.2.5 is the latest "official" release as far as I can see on the downloads page, but JBoss AS 7 seems to be running 2.2.7 internally.

       

      Which version is recommended for what we want to do?
