1. Re: Can't even send a message using Errai yet ("n.name" cannot be resolved in generated:// ... /ExtensionsLoaderImpl.java)
navigateur Oct 9, 2011 6:21 PM (in response to navigateur)Update: I examined the Errai-generated .java file and "n" is an instance of my custom class in that Errai-generated file. However, my custom class contains no field called "name", yet that Errai-generated .java file contains "n.name". This tells me that Errai wanted to add a field "name" to my custom class (among other things). I've tried putting my custom class's folder as both a "lib" and a "src" "classpath-entry" in my .classpath file (build path), to no avail...
Question: how do I force Errai to find my custom classes and do its compilation stuff with them?
Anybody successfully sending custom java class objects over Errai can help me out avoiding this error? There must be a simple step.
(Info: I'm using Eclipse, selecting "Run as Web Application" to do the build. Could this be the problem? If so, how do I make Eclipse do the right steps by Errai?)

csa Oct 13, 2011 4:04 PM (in response to navigateur)There seems to be a problem with generating the demarshallers for your custom class. Do you have an @ExposeEntity annotation on all corresponding classes? Also, you need a default no-arg constructor and getters/setters for all fields see https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/ERRAI/Serialization.
If you're still experiencing this issue, could you post your custom class?
