How an ajax action cancel another ajax action?

hi,

I have a button who open a modalpanel after the action finished. but the user can click some other place to do something else after click this button. I want to know if there is a way to cancel the response of the button action to prevent the modalpanel from being opened.

you could use a4j:queue. and after request risen - just check if the queue not empty and cancel new request.

the first action is already in a queue, and the second action have nothing to do with the first one. this could occur some other place in my application. because the second action clear some variable in the session. Can it have 2 queues different or more?


Can we use the global queue to prevent from any ajax request concurrence?
