HornetQ 2.1.2 JNDI lookup problem

Hi All,

I am a newbie to HornetQ, I am trying to write a simple hornetq application which creates ConnectionFactory and Queue and bind them in JNDI, which can then be look-up by client. But When client tries to lookup ConnectionFactory, I am getting the exception: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: ConnectionFactory not bound. Attachment contains the two maven projects (server and client).

Did I miss anything? Any help is appreciated.

Do you use stand alone hornetq server or JBoss app server?

stand alone hornetq server deployed in tomcat

Putting jnp.properties in classpath of hornetq server solved the problem.

jnp.properties contains:

java.naming.factory.initial=org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory
