1. Re: setter declared in a superclass prevents sar from being deployed
rhanus Nov 9, 2011 10:46 AM (in response to rhanus)forget to mention that I'm using 7.0.2
it looks like a bug:
org.jboss.as.service.ReflectionUtils.getSetter(ReflectionUtils.java:75) calls getMethods() on ClassReflectionIndex where available methods are obtained from the call of Class.getDeclaredMethods()
oh no

alesj Nov 9, 2011 12:14 PM (in response to rhanus)Can you open a JIRA for this, and I'll have a look.
Or even better, provide a patch / github pull request. :-)

Post the relevant info here, so I know what you did - either just JIRA or the full fix.

4. Re: setter declared in a superclass prevents sar from being deployed
rhanus Nov 10, 2011 5:01 AM (in response to alesj)Hi Justin,
this bug is a migration blocker for me so that I'm willing to help as much as possible
so a JIRA issue has been created for sure :-)
I would like to try to fix it can you please quickstart me how to end up with a github pull request ?
I'm going to check corresponding implementation of AS 5.x/6.x to provide backward compatible fix
Regards,
Radim
