Hello all,

I am trying to deploy one of the application based on EJBs and it's giving the error like as below:-

Hello All,

Further digging into it, I came to know that, there are two jar files named Common.jar and eBikes.jar which have it's own persistence.xml file and they are registering their own persistence-unit=eBikes in Global JNDI. Common.jar is deploying first so it's able to deploy successfully but eBikes.jar fails because persistence-unit eBikes already registered in Global JNDI by Common.jar. I am not developer and no knowledge of development so I can't change the name of persistence-unit in whole code to work it. Please help, how to resolve this issue. Thanks to all in advance for any pointer/hint.

Finally by changing in the code and setting different persistence-unit, it worked.

I have 2 applications (WAR) with the same persistence-unit names. Is´nt there a way to isolate this? Cant I have persistence units with the same name on diferent applications?
