CLI domain modelling formatting for accessing non-addressable nodes

I'm trying to write a script that sets up a fresh AS and I'm wondering how to access the pattern-format pattern in the formatter element of a logger. The friendle tab-completion in the CLI lets me easily navigate down the correct handler (e.g CONSOLE) but how to move on to the formatter an on?

Ah, that's a useful reference. However the syntax appear to be a bit differing when you edit already existing properties. I dug around and found update-properties so in my case

/subsystem=logging/console-handler=CONSOLE:update-properties(formatter="mypattern")
