Problem using the editor when work items exist

Hi,

I'm using tomcat apache-tomcat-6.0.33

the 1.0.0.055 version of the designer and the 5.3.0.Final-tomcat-6.0 of guvnor

jdk 1.6.0_24

The situation:

I'm creating some workitems  then a bpmn2 process to use this workitems.

When i want to edit this process the editor is blocked on the message "Please wait while loading...".

on the other side when i removed all the workitems from guvnor the editor works fine.

Anyone as already meet this problem?

Most likely reason is that your workitems configs are not correct and thre should be exceptions in your logs indicating that (look for some MVEL exceptions and show them if exist).

jBPM Designer 2.0 which should be out very soon handles this better and does not "blow up" if your workitem defintions mvel cannot be parsed..just prints info message in the logs so you are aware.
