RF4 rich:extendedDataTable how to position in a row programatically?

Hi,

My table sometimes has more than 1000 rows, with horizontal/vertical scrolls working fine.

Then, I have to create a button to position in some person, making a search by person name.

I would like to know if there is a way to make this search and automatically reposition the table, putting the person row found like the first row showed in the window. Is this possible?

The problem with filter resource is that the datatable hides all others rows. I can't hide any row. I need only to reposition in the row of a person. I would like to create a outputtext + button. The user types "Jhon" for example and I reposition in the first row that have the name "Jhon".
