Can you please explain what you mean by not working? If possible please attach a reproducible application which shows this issue.

robertobeeman Nov 23, 2011 1:36 PM (in response to jaikiran)Hi Jaikiran,
I developed a simple JSP page with many white spaces between words and between lines like
===========
<html>
<head><title>TestApp</title></head>
<body bgcolor=maroon text=white>
<center><h2>TestSpaces</h2>
Hello
There are many Spaces
And
New Lines In This Page Do u see it?
</center>
</body>
</html>
===========
Once we access this JSP page froma Web Browser everything is fine ..... but the White spaces between the words and blank lines should not be visible in the JSP "When we view the Page Source" if we set trim-spaces=true
something similar to http://middlewaremagic.com/weblogic/?p=5916
