Composing Message from FTP'd file

Hi All,

    Still relatively new to ESB's ...

    I have a scheduled ESB that wakes up periodically and needs to fetch a file from an FTP site, do some transformations and then send the message on its way.

    My question is how to get the file contents composed into a message?

    Do I need to land the file first and then bring it in with Smooks or a custom file gateway?

    Is there a way to have the file's input stream coming from FTP fed directly into a composer?

I found the FTP quickstart example which seems to do what I need ...

I think you have a handle on this now with using the FTP gateway (demonstrated in the helloworld_ftp_action quickstart) and then smooks for transformations, if you anything crops up with it though feel free to ask.
