How to remove the portlet border in GateIn

    battasrinivasa1

      Hi All,

I am new to GateIn portal. I have developed couple of portlets and deployed in GateIn container. Now I am able to see the borders for each portlet which I want to remove. Even I dont want to have Edit/Help modes for my portlet, but I know how to do that with the portlet.xml file.

Only the problem is I am not able to figure it out how to remove the default border for my portlet.

I was looking at the gatein reference guide but not able to find any where, just if anybody know where can I refer for more info that would be grateful.

      thanks in advance

          Hi All,

I have figured it out to remove the portlet frames, follow the below steps to remove the portlet border:

          1. Go to Page edit mode.

          2. Edit the portlet that you want to remove the border and deselect the below check boxes in "Portlet Settings" tab:

              "Show Info Bar"

              "Show Portlet Mode"

              "Show Window State"

Now you can't see the border and it will looks like a simple JSP page included in the body of your portal page.

          thanks again
