Highlighting a dropzone when it's being draged over in 4.0.0Final

Hi,

I'm trying to highlght a dropzone when it is draged over in 4.0.0Final.

I know it could be done in Richfaces 3.3.X using "ondragenter" and "ondragexit" attributes of the "rich:dropSupport" component. But i can't figure it out using 4.0.0Final version since this specific attributes are not available anymore.

Can I have some help?

Have you tried using the onmouseover/onmouseout attributes of a richPanel encompassing the dropTarget?

Hi Brian. Yes, I tried. But it looks like those events do not fire while the item is being dragged.

The rich:dragIndicator has support for highlighting the drag indicator when over a drop target, using the css classes:

.rf-ind-drag.accept

This class defines styles for the indicator when it is over an acceptable drop target.

.rf-ind-drag.reject

This class defines styles for the indicator when it is over an unacceptable drop target.

But you are asking to highlight the dropTarget itself.  You can do so with some jQuery/javascript, and listen to the "dropover" and "dropout" events fired by the droppable object.

If you'd like us to expose these events as component attributes, please file a jira request asking for the feature.
