Logout button or link in JBoss as7 console

I wonder why JBoss as7 does not have a logout button/link in its console (similar issue was seen in older version of JBoss). I believe its not a form-based authentication which has been used due to which there is no logout for the console.

However it would be great if we have it because the first time when we enter the JBoss console URL we get a prompt for the username and password, but when we  only close the browser tab in which the console was opened ( not the whole browser) and open a new tab in the same browser and entering the JBoss console link this time it would directly get us inside the console without asking for the username and password.

Hence I wish we can get a logout button/link for the JBoss console.

Just to add a little further background to this.

Underneath we are using the standard HTTP authentication mechanisms for the messages exchanged by the console to the server, the side effect of this however is that the web browser caches the credentials to re-sends them when prompted so the reason there is no log out is because there is no log in ;-)

The HTTP mechanism we are using is Digest so I believe there may be a way to force the browser to drop the cached credentials so we are currently investigating that.
