Red Hat has released the JBoss Certified Application Administrator (JBCAA) certification program to provide an official, impartial validation of a JBoss administrator's technical skills. This is a real world performance certification based on the administrator's ability to handle specific administration tasks rather than their ability to simply regurgitate facts by answering a series of multiple choice questions. As well as being a way for people to demonstrate their skills, the certification can also provide another input for organizations that are looking for qualified administrators to support their enterprise Java applications.
The certification currently targets AS/EAP5 with AS7 support targeted for some time in 2012.
