1. Re: Problem installing Apache Axis2 plugin (version 1.6.1)
maxandersen Dec 14, 2011 4:59 PM (in response to ndrw_cheung)JBDS 4 does not support installations via "dropins". You need to use an updatesite via the Update ui (Help > Install new software)
Unfortunately I don't know any such site for these plugins.

2. Re: Problem installing Apache Axis2 plugin (version 1.6.1)
ndrw_cheung Dec 15, 2011 8:55 AM (in response to maxandersen)Hi, Max. Would it work if I put the downloaded plugin jar file on any regular website that we hosted (say a website I created on my local machine) and use that as an update site, then uses the Update UI and point to that website?
Thanks in advance for answering.

3. Re: Problem installing Apache Axis2 plugin (version 1.6.1)
maxandersen Dec 15, 2011 9:01 AM (in response to ndrw_cheung)Doesn't have to be an update site on a webserver - could just be a manually created updatesite on disk.
The metadata for that is missing - it is just a plugin bundle without installation info.
