RichFaces 4.x a4j:poll not working

Hello there,

I deployed the RichFaces samples on JBoss AS7.1 and the poll sample is working fine.

I tried to extract the sample and use it in a standalone application, so I created a basic JSF web app and I pasted the PollBean and the  xhtml files (see the enclosed archive). The page is loaded is ok but the ajax poll don't  work - timestamp is not updated on 2 sec basis and the button is always se to "Stop polling".

In the attachement I removed the WEB-INF/lib directory but I can confirm that I'm using the same libs as the richfaces demo.

Any idea?

Tracing JS actions I found "[20:08:20.998] RichFaces is not defined @ http://localhost:8080/....""

Solved by adding <h:head>. It is working now :-)
