There is a little information about topic hierarchies in user guide. What I want to know like the following case.
I create one topic named "pushTopic", and three consumers separately subscibed topic "A\@pushTopic","B\@pushTopic" and "C\@pushTopic", Maybe essentially they just subscibed just one topic -- pushTopic.
My questions:
1. Should I manage the three subtopics myself? If yes, how to manage them(add, remove). If no, how long time is one subtopic alive? or the concept of subtopic is just with message not topic?
2. If one of consumers unsubscibed, can I konw which subtopic they unsubscibed?
To understand better the topic hierarchies, I suggest you have a look at the topic-hierarchies example in the hornetq distribution package.
The readme file tells you what is it and how the wildcard (such as #, *, .) can be used.
