1. Re: meta tag refresh doesn't work correctly with a4j link
nbelaevski Sep 9, 2009 7:32 AM (in response to frisch)Hi,
refresh timer is started when the page is first loaded. AJAX requests do not update it. You can use JavaScript to implement this functionality correctly. -
2. Re: meta tag refresh doesn't work correctly with a4j link
frisch Sep 10, 2009 4:22 AM (in response to frisch)Hi
First thanks for the prompt response
I'm using the following code now:<script type="text/javascript"> setTimeout('Redirect()', 1200000); function Redirect() { location.href = 'timeout_login.html'; } </script>
to set the timeout to 20 mins but it doesn't seem to be working right.
Can you tell what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks -
3. Re: meta tag refresh doesn't work correctly with a4j link
nbelaevski Sep 10, 2009 6:12 AM (in response to frisch)Timer should be re-set for each request. You can use A4J.AJAX.AddListener function to add listener to track all AJAX requests and update the timer.

4. Re: meta tag refresh doesn't work correctly with a4j link
frisch Sep 10, 2009 10:04 AM (in response to frisch)I have found a simple workaround using
<body onload="countdownFunction();" onmousemove="timer=start" onclick="timer=start" onkeyup="timer=start">
However your solution seems better but I can't find any examples how to implement it. Could you give me some hints or links to it?
Thanks a lot
