JBoss AS 5.1 Multiple JVM Question

Hello,

I've been looking around the web and have been attempting to see if its possible with JBoss AS 5.1 to have each application running on its own JVM. So far I believe the answer is no, as I found a forum post on this community back from 2005 (http://community.jboss.org/thread/69084) that said as much.

But I was just wondering if this still holds true? Or if it is possible to have each application running seperatly on its own JVM.

Also, if not possible with JBoss AS 5.1, is this possible in a later version of JBoss like 6.X or 7.X?

Well, you could run multiple copies of JBoss AS, each with only a single app deployed.

Other than that, there is no way for JBoss AS to manage apps runnign in another JVM.
