a4j:push RF 4.1 final requests

Dears RF team,

i tested a4j:push compoenent within my application and it went great, but i noticed some interval requests (every 30 seconds) coming from the page where a4j:push exists (PFA),

what are these reqeusts for ?, are they necessary ?, it keeps my session alive forever.

Hi Ibrahim,

these requests are caused by HTTP long-polling technique which works on principle of opening and holding request open until server pushes message.

This behavior is really expected and you will need to disable a4j:push (rendered=false) in order to stop polling.
