How to show a break line in the header of datatable???

There are too many columns in my table, so I want to break the headers of certain columns to save space.

For example, a column is called "First name", I want these 2 words to be displayed in 2 rows so that the column could be narrower.

Could somebody tell me how to do this???

I tried "\n", this literal is displayed...

it is automatic if you have not whitespace:nowrap in your style.

This is answer is a bit late, but I know two ways to do it:

1. <h:outputText escape="false" value="hello&lt;br/&ft;world"/>

    If the value is coming from a message file, i.e. #{msgs.helloWorld} then you can define helloWorld

     like this:

    helloWorld=Hello<br/>world

2. <h:outputText style="white-space: pre" value="hello&#10;world"/>
