I've been evaluating standalone ESB by running the quickstarts and creating some of my own. One thing I have been unable to do is to access the server externally via http. I can't even pull up the default index page. I'm running Windows XP and Windows Server 2008.
On the local host I can acess the index page using http://localhost:8080, but if I try http://myhostname:8080 it does not find the server. Nor can I access http://myhostname:8080 from a remote client.
I can run Apache on 8080 and access it both locally and remotely. Is there some config I don't know about that needs to change?
Thanks
Dan
Well as often happens, I answered my own question shorly after posting this.
I needed to add the -b param to the run command to bind the server to the host. This works:
run -b0.0.0.0
