Maven Archetypes for JBoss 4

Hallo I need to port a JBoss 4 legacy project from a propietary build system to a maven build.

This project contains SAR-archives.

Are there any maven archetypes for JBoss 4.x to produce EAR and SAR archives?

Is there any documentation how to set up such a maven project (for people with only limited maven knowledge)?

I don't know about archetypes, but here are some plugins that can help you build an EAR and a SAR (they include examples):
