meetoblivion Jul 19, 2011 5:48 PM (in response to gbo3006)How are you configuring it? Is it via a listener or are you running a consumer and calling receive?

gbo3006 Jul 20, 2011 2:46 AM (in response to gbo3006)using MessageListener; basically my listener is handling one message at a time, while I want to be able to control the number of concurrent messages that my listener is getting.

meetoblivion Jul 20, 2011 5:27 AM (in response to gbo3006)if you're using something like TopicBuilder to create the listener, all this is doing is wrapping calls to the MessageConsumer interface. The JMS spec states that messages will be delivered to the message listener asynchronously, but only one at a time. The only type of object that has pooling capabilities in this manner is a MessageDrivenBean.
