lightguard Jul 25, 2011 2:22 PM (in response to aareshchanka)If you're using Seam Faces, it uses a PhaseListener.

2. Re: SeamManaged alternative to avoid LazyInitializationException
aareshchanka Jul 25, 2011 3:48 PM (in response to aareshchanka)Actually I'm using seam-faces.
I took seam-booking sample and modyfied it, just added lazy connections with entites. I'm running application on as7 and getting such errors.
Do I need to add some specific configuration to seam-booking sample to turn on phase listener?
Thanks, Alex.

lightguard Jul 25, 2011 4:26 PM (in response to aareshchanka)@SeamManaged was changed to @ExtensionManaged.
AFAIK this should be working correctly.

4. Re: SeamManaged alternative to avoid LazyInitializationException
aareshchanka Jul 25, 2011 5:07 PM (in response to aareshchanka)I enabled logging and that's true, phase listener is invoked correctly, but still LazyInitializationException occurs.
Does seam-faces have tests for transactionphaselistener with lazyloading? Or maybe there is sample where entities are loaded lazily on the
page.
This exception ocures even if I load entity explicitly in managed bean by em.merge(entity) and the in xhtml envoke
- {managedBean.entity.lazyProperty}
It seems to me that this functionality works incorrectly.
