Booking example in Tomcat

Hello,

Is the booking example able to run in Tomcat 6 ? And how ? Maybe deployed from Eclipse.

I deployed and run the booking example from Eclipse indigo, with jboss plugin, into JBoss 6 (and java 1.6.0 u24 :) and it worked fine. Maybe I can change the Weld part in the pom ? Does that make sence ?

I would certainly change the pom info to use Weld servlet and try from that. You will probably also have to make some other changes as well. Please follow http://docs.jboss.org/weld/reference/1.0.0/en-US/html/environments.html#d0e4998 for specifics.

I think it is impossible...my before project is based on some work of booking example...I try to implement the basic feature, such as login, change password, reset password, I encoutered many problems when copied these classes(of course removed ejb) to my project.

So, finally I have to switch to Spring.

Did you get Seam3 Booking running on Tomcat?
I've been using Seam2 for 3 or 4 years and now I think it's time to change to Seam3, cause of JSF2, Primefaces and even Seam3 improvements. But I couldn't get many examples running on Tomcat 6 or 7 until now.
Does anyone can help me with that?

I already got Weld running... and now I'd like to setup the persistence module.
In fact, I'd like to see the Booking example running in Tomcat, but I neither know how/where to start.
