Event in Seam 3

Hi,

I am using Seam 3 in my new application. Is it possible if I can use the Event object like we do have in seam 2.2.4?

I want to raiseEvent and then want to observe it accordingly. Any idea where to start this thing because I am not able to see Event class anymore.

Use CDI event model instead

Seam 2 classes are not compatible with Seam 3 classes. As Hantsy said you'll need to use the CDI Event class and use the @Observes annotation to observe them. Please see the Weld Documentation for more information about how to use CDI.
